THE WAR MUSEUM

The war museum is composed of 3 rooms. In the middle is the a decoration room where is exposed the 8 medals awarded by R. Poincaré, medals awarded until 1929 and the Croix de Guerre 1939-1945, making Verdun the most decorated city in France with a total of 26 medals. On the one hand, you can find a room in which are exposed photographs of the destruction of the city and objects that belonged to the great military leaders. On the other hand ou can find a room with the guest books of  Verdun soldiers as well as the diplomas and the “Croix de Guerre” awarded to the destroyed villages of the Red Zone. VISIT IN FRENCH
